RPC worked with the University of the West of England to decommission six nuclear labs to make space for 120 modular desks which we then installed.
To decommission the rooms RPC decontaminated with all the associated equipment. The rooms were then stripped back to shells and the re-installation began. This included new ventilation, air conditioning, scene setting, lighting and AV equipment.
Working directly with UWE design team, the strip out of existing services and successful installation of new ones was carried out. It required lots of close coordination between all parties to allow for all services to come up through the floor to the local teaching desks.
